Add your products, prices and first stock

Add your products, their prices, the opening stock, and, if your shop keeps a store room, where it is kept.

1. 1. Open Products, then press "Add product".

2. 2. Type the name, category, selling price and barcode (if you have one). Cost is shown only to roles allowed to see it.

3. 3. If the product comes in sizes or colours, choose "Variants" and list them. BCC creates every combination, each with its own stock.

4. 4. Type the opening stock in the product form. It shows in Goods received as "Opening stock".

5. 5. In Stock & Store Room settings, turn on "We keep a store room" if your shop has a store behind the counter. Then counts show the store room and the shop floor separately.

6. 6. More than one branch: open Branches and add each one. This is for Business and Enterprise. Starter allows one branch.
