Store room and shop floor: move and request

Move items from the store room to the shop floor, ask the store to issue stock, and move stock between branches.

The store room applies only if your shop keeps one (see J4). Moving stock between branches needs two or more branches (Business and above).

1. 1. Open Store. You see the store room, the shop floor and the total for each product.

2. 2. "Issue to shop": choose the product, size or colour, and the quantity to move from the store room to the shop floor. You cannot issue more than the store holds.

3. 3. "Ask the store for stock": a shop-floor person asks for an item. The storekeeper is told, and can issue all of it, part of it, or decline with a reason.

4. 4. Back to the store: unsold items on the shop floor can be put back into the store room from the same screen.

5. 5. Moving between branches: open Transfers, press "New Transfer", choose the sending and receiving branches, and the items. The receiving branch confirms. Any shortage goes back to the sending branch.
